November 27, 2009Miss Cosmopolitan, Brittany Hagan is collecting holiday cards for the children at Riley Hospital and you can help! Help Brittany reach her goal of 100 handmade cards that will be delivered to Riley kids just in time for the holiday season. Tips and suggestions are on the Miss Cosmopolitan website at www.misscosmopolitan.org. Make sure to pass the cards along to Brittany or one of her friends at the Miss Cosmopolitan program by December 1st! Very Sad News
November 23, 2009Dear Pageant Family – It is with a very heavy heart that we let you know that Suzie Kiley, Miss Hoosier Heartland/Miss Hoosier Valley Co-director and Advertising Chair has passed away. Suzie devoted over 25 years of her life to the Miss Indiana program. Suzie – you will be deeply missed. Visitation will be from 4-7:30 on Tuesday at Shirley Funeral Home and 10:00 -11:00 on Wednesday at St. Patricks Church with Mass following at 11:00 pm.

November 18, 2009The Miss Cosmopolitan Princess Program is a non-competitive activity for girls age 5-12. Check out the Miss Cosmo website, www.misscosmopolitan.org for details on this special experience with Miss Indiana and the contestants at the 2010 Miss Cosmopolitan Scholarship Program on Saturday, February 6th at Plainfield High School. All princesses will join the contestants on stage during the pageant, will receive a tiara, an autographed picture from Miss Indiana and Miss Cosmopolitan, tickets to the crowning party and tickets to the pageant. November 13, 2009Miss America 2009 Katie Stam Supports Children’s Miracle Network’s Golf Classic & Their Special Guests Miss America 2009 Katie Stam enjoyed wonderful moments in Orlando, Florida, where she participated in the Children’s Miracle Network’s Annual Golf Classic. On Tuesday, Katie started off her visit by meeting with golfers and their families at an IHOP breakfast, featuring beloved characters from Disney World. Later that evening she spoke at a dinner for the golfers and announced the ten draft picks for the tournament. Katie met with the golfers’ wives on Wednesday at Tiffany’s for a fun breakfast outing where Katie was the honored guest. Katie spoke to the women about the importance of Children’s Miracle Network and thanked them and their husbands’ for their participation in the event. That evening Katie participated in a golfer’s appreciation dinner at Animal Kingdom. Katie mixed and mingled with the golfers and their families and thanked them for their unwavering support for the thousands of children across the nation that they are helping.
