The Miss Fort Wayne Scholarship Organization is accepting applications for the upcoming Miss Fort Wayne, Miss Fort Wayne’s Outstanding Teen, and Miss Fort Wayne Princess pageant taking place on February 25th, 2012. The Teen pageant and Princess pageant (ages 4-12) are both OPEN while the Miss pageant is closed to Allen County residents or students. Thank you to Debbie Wiley for letting us know of the passing of Phil Arthur. Phil was a photographer for Miss Indiana and many locals for many years. He meant a great deal to many people in the Miss Indiana family and he will be missed.

Phil’s showing is Wed, Jan 25th from 5 to 9 at Erlewein Mortuary, 1484 W US 40, Greenfield, In. and the funeral is Thurs. Jan 26th at 1 PM, at Faith Lutheran Church , 200 W. McKenzie, Greenfield, In 46140.

MARCH 24 is the New Date for Miss/Teen HOOSIER HEARTLAND/ Miss HOOSIER VALLEY

Tess Cooper, the new director of Miss/Teen Hoosier Heartland / Miss Hoosier Valley, has announced that the pageant has moved its date from January 21 to Saturday, March 24.  The pageant will be held on the IU-Kokomo campus.  Specifics will be announced later.  Contestants from  Howard, Tipton, Miami, Cass, Carroll, Clinton, Tippecanoe, White, Jasper, Lake, Porter, and LaPorte  are eligible for the pageant.  For the 2011-2012 pageant season, the following counties will be included in the license area for Miss Hoosier Heartland / Miss Hoosier Valley:  Montgomery, Fountain, Warren, Benton, and Newton.

MISS/TEEN KOSCIUSKO PAGEANT SET FOR SATURDAY, JANUARY 7

The Miss Kosciusko County Scholarship Program will be held this Saturday, January 7, 2012, at Wawasee Middle School at 6:00 p.m. Tickets will be available at the door. Tickets are $10 each and doors will open at 5:30. Come out and support the 8 young women of the county vying for scholarship money.  The Wawasee Middle School is located at 9850N  SR 13, Syracuse, IN  46567, north of North Webster and four miles south of Syracuse.
