MISS CARDINAL ANNOUNCEMENT

The Miss Hoosier Heartland Program is excited to announce a change! We will be joining forces with a new addition to the Miss Indiana local family, Miss Cardinal for our 2017 pageant. The Miss Hoosier Heartland and Miss Cardinal Pageant will be jointly held on March 5, 2017 at Indiana University, Kokomo Havens Hall at 5 pm EST in Kokomo, Indiana.
While the Miss Hoosier Heartland & Miss Hoosier Heartland’s Outstanding Teen Pageant remains an “open” pageant (eligible contestants can hail from anywhere in the state of Indiana), Miss Cardinal will be a “closed” pageant.
Miss Cardinal (ages 17-24) is closed to contestants who reside, are employed full time, or attend school full time in the following Indiana counties (Benton, Carrol, Cass, Clinton, Fountain, Howard, Miami, Montgomery, Tippecanoe, Tipton, Warren, and White). Miss Cardinal’s Outstanding Teen (ages 13-17 and no more than an upcoming Junior in High School) will be open to all eligible contestants from the entire state of Indiana.
This DUAL pageant offers the possibility for eligible contestants to be considered for BOTH titles while only completing one set of paperwork, one Children’s Miracle Network donation (Miss contestants only), and one judges’ panel!
Two Miss, Two Teen, 4 Sashes, 4 Crowns, and 4 Titles!
Miss Hoosier Heartland Program remains under the direction of Jae Ann Brier, while the Miss Cardinal Scholarship Program will be under the direction of Tracey Hossfeld and Zarah Skelton.
Contestant entry paperwork and information is available starting 1/9/17 by visiting www.misshoosierheartlandwestcentral.org. Please direct any questions to jeannbrier@gmail.com (MISS contestants) / misscardinalin@gmail.com (TEEN contestants).
We’re looking forward to a great year!
